Grants

AK-Chin

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ak-Chin for their generous grant, which is instrumental in enhancing the welfare of our horses and the overall functionality of our facility. This support will enable us to install essential shading in our arenas, ensuring our horses are protected from the harsh sun, and to secure quality feed that sustains their health. Ak-Chin’s commitment to our mission plays a pivotal role in helping us maintain a safe, nurturing environment, and we are truly grateful for their partnership and belief in the work we do.

Pinal County Supervisors

We extend our sincere gratitude to Pinal County, Supervisor Jeff Serdy, and the dedicated county staff for their generous grant. This vital support allows us to provide essential feed and farrier services to our horses.   This allows our herd to receive the proper nutrition and care needed for their overall well-being. Their commitment to our mission not only strengthens our operations but also reinforces the importance of community support.  Their commitment to community helps us in sustaining the health and welfare of our equine family. We are deeply appreciative of this partnership and the positive impact it has on our work.

Boeing

We are deeply grateful to Boeing for their generous grant, which has enabled us to install stall covers that protect our animals from both the heat and rain. Their support extends beyond this critical contribution, as they also provide quality feed and maintain their commitment through an employee matching program. The additional funds and volunteer support from Boeing not only help us keep our property in superior shape but also ensure that our horses receive the love and care that our dedicated volunteers provide. Their partnership is an invaluable asset to our mission, and we are sincerely thankful for their ongoing support.

Florence Copper Community Grant

Good Shepherd Horse Rescue and Learning Center is sincerely thankful to the Florence Copper Community Grant for their generous support of our veterinary care program. Their funding helps ensure that the horses in our care receive the essential medical attention they need, from routine wellness care to urgent treatments. This support makes a meaningful difference in the health, comfort, and recovery of the rescued horses we serve, and it allows us to continue providing compassionate care to animals that depend on us. We truly appreciate Florence Copper’s commitment to strengthening our community and helping organizations like Good Shepherd make a lasting impact
